1. Academic Facilities
a) Library
NLU Delhi Library or Justice T. P. S. Chawla Library has over 37,500 books and a bound volume of journals. Currently, it has 180 subscriptions to newspapers and journals, along with 250 CDs and DVDs. It has also increased its digital collection of 472 E-Books from Oxford University Press and 464 e-books from Cambridge University Press. The library caters to all the needs of students, teachers, and researchers.
b) Internet/Computer Center
The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The internet center is located in the Library. It has 50 high-end desktops, well equipped with optical drives. There is also an arrangement for laptop users. Three servers drive the internet center and have a high-speed bandwidth. A print facility is also available.
c) Digital Classrooms
The classrooms are equipped with digital podiums, LCD projectors, display screens, and Wi-Fi access. The students must purchase laptops to use internet connectivity best for research purposes.
d) Auditoriums
There is a fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of over 650 people. The auditorium is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities. It is used to organize University functions, including seminars, conferences, and cultural programs.
e) Seminar Rooms
NLU Delhi has four seminar rooms with facilities attached.
f) E-Moot Court Hall
Moot court is the replica of a real-life court. In any law institute, moot court plays a significant role. Students get practical ideas from the moot courts. The University has a state-of-the-art E-Moot Court Hall equipped with hi-tech audio-visual equipment with a seating capacity of 170 people.
2. Residential Facilities
a) Hostel
NLU Delhi hostel has the latest facilities. It comprises an academic block (five floors), an independent administration block (five floors), and a fully air-conditioned auditorium for holding conferences and seminars. The university is fully residential and maintains separate residences for boys and girls. The hostels have common room facilities, indoor games, like TT, a Pool Table, Television, and a trendy Gymnasium.
b) Transport Facilities
The university has two Innova Cars and a bus for student activities such as court visits, legal aid programs, and clinics. It is well connected through Metro Rail and has good DTC bus services.
c) Medical Center and Ambulance
The university has a 24-hour medical center with a nurse. A doctor visits the campus from 4-5 p.m. every day. An ambulance is also available every time for the residents of the University to deal with any emergency.
d) Banks
UCO Bank has an extension counter for transactions on specified days of the week between 1-2 p.m. Students can open their accounts with the UCO Bank. It has also provided an ATM facility on campus. HDFC Bank is also providing banking facilities at NLU, Delhi. The ATM of HDFC is available in the cafeteria.
e) Sports/Games
NLU Delhi has basketball and volleyball courts and an up-to-date gymnasium with the latest equipment for boys and girls in their respective hostels. The facilities for sports are planned on the additional land, which will be available to the university shortly.
