UP Judiciary Exam Educational Qualification Criteria

The educational qualifications criteria for UP Civil Judge are:

  • Applicant must hold a Bachelor of Law degree from a university established by law in UP or any other Indian university recognized by the Governor. OR
  • Applicant must be an Advocate enrolled under the Advocate Act 1961, a Member of the Faculty of Advocates in Scotland, or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland, with the right to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate to it.
  • Candidates awaiting the results of their final year law examination are also eligible to apply, provided they can prove they passed the examination at the time of the interview.
  • Also, the applicant must understand Hindi well in the Devnagri script.

UP Judiciary Exam Application Process

The UP judiciary exam application process must be completed online through the official website within the given time limit. The application process comprises the below-mentioned stages:

  • Registration on the website
  • Access the application form
  • Filling out the application form
  • Submit relevant documents
  • Payment of application fee

Click on Apply for Online Application.

Candidates can follow the 3 stages mentioned below while filling out the online form:

First Stage

  • Click on Apply. The candidate registration form is displayed.
  • The basic registration form is displayed by clicking the Candidate Registration respective to the exam.
  • Fill out the basic registration form. Check all the information filled out.
  • If any correction/modification is required, click the Edit button and ensure the necessary corrections/modifications.
  • Verify all the information filled in. Click on Submit Application.
  • The registration of the first stage is over. After that, the Print Registration Slip is displayed, and the Print of Registration Slip must be taken by clicking on the Print Registration Slip.

Second Stage

  • Once the procedure of the first stage is over, the Fee is displayed with the caption: Click here to proceed with payment.
  • Click on the above caption. State Bank MOPS (Multi Option Payment System) home page is displayed, comprising 3 modes of payment:
  1. Net Banking
  2. Card Payments
  3. Other Payment Modes
  • After depositing the required fee using the above-prescribed modes, the Payment Acknowledgement Receipt (PAR) and fee payment details are displayed. Take the printout by clicking on Print Payment Receipt.

Three Stage

  • To submit the application form once the second stage procedure is complete, click on the Proceed button.
  • Enter all the required details in the format prescribed in the Notification.
  • After entering all details, click Preview to see that all the information and entries are correctly entered.
  • Click on the Submit button to forward it to the Commission.

Viva-Voce

This is the final assessment stage of the UP judiciary exam selection process. Candidates who successfully qualify for the preliminary and Main examinations of the UP Judiciary exam are called for the interview process, after which the final selection is made.
