Overview of Rajasthan Judiciary Syllabus

The Rajasthan Syllabus is divided into three stages –

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):

The Preliminary examination is an objective type. It tests the candidate’s knowledge of law, Hindi, and English proficiency.

2. Main Examination (Subjective Type):

The Mains examination is a descriptive type. It tests the candidate’s knowledge in Civil Law, Criminal Law, and Language subjects.

3. Interview:

RJS Syllabus 2024 For Preliminary Exam

The Rajasthan civil judge syllabus 2024 (RJS exam) is released for prelims and mains. The RJS prelims syllabus has topics from Law, Hindi, and English subjects. The RJS Mains syllabus also has the same subjects as prelims. However, there are 2 RJS Law papers in both prelims and mains. 

  • The Preliminary exams are objective-type 
  • Maximum marks – 100
  • 70% weightage is given to the subjects prescribed in the syllabus for Law Paper-1 and Law Paper-11
  • 30% weightage is given to test proficiency in Hindi and English language
  • No negative marking
  • Prelim exam marks are not counted in the final ranking

RJS Syllabus 2024 for Interview

In the last phase of the Rajasthan Civil Judge examination, a candidate must have an aggregate of 40% and 35% in all law papers to qualify for the interview. 35 marks are assigned for the interview. 

The RJS interview syllabus covers various topics, from the test taker’s experience and education to current affairs and their general knowledge. The aspirants will receive bonus points for their command of the Rajasthani dialect and familiarity with Rajasthani culture.
