Preliminary Examination
- The Prelims question paper is of Objective-type.
- There are 100 questions for 1 mark each with no negative marking.

Mains Examination
- The Main exam consists of 4 papers & is conducted in descriptive answer writing format. 3 hours are allotted for the first two papers and 2 hours for the last two.

Interview (35 Marks)
While interviewing a candidate, the suitability for employment in the service is tested regarding the candidate’s record at the school, college, and University and character, personality, address, and physique. The questions asked may be general and not necessarily academic or legal.
The candidates are also asked questions to test their general knowledge, including knowledge of current affairs and present-day problems. Marks are awarded for the candidate’s proficiency in the Rajasthani dialects and the knowledge of the social customs of Rajasthan.
