The Consortium of National Law Universities will tentatively announce the CLAT exam result 2024 in the second week of December 2023. CLAT Result 2024 Date
CLAT 2024 is scheduled to be held on December 3, 2023. CLAT results will be prepared based on the final answer key. After reviewing objections made by candidates, the final key answer is released. CLAT Counseling 2024
The consortium arranges the CLAT counseling online. They send eligible candidates text messages and emails to inform them they are selected for counseling. Candidates must sign up on the CLAT login page and pay a participation fee. The fee is ₹ 30,000 for general category candidates, and for SC and ST candidates, it’s ₹ 20,000.
On joining CLAT 2024 counseling, candidates get a seat in national law universities. The consortium decides who gets which seat based on how well candidates did and what they prefer. Once candidates are assigned a seat, they can accept it, apply for an upgrade, or leave the admission process. If they accept the offer, they must pay the NLU course fees to the university where they are placed.
How many number of candidates are invited for CLAT counseling 2024?
The consortium conducts the CLAT counseling immediately after the results. It prepares an invite list of shortlisted candidates based on merit cum preference.
Candidates 5 times the number of seats available under each category are invited for counseling. Around 15,500 candidates will be invited to fill 3100 seats in 5-year integrated LLB courses. Whereas around 3,300 candidates will be invited for the LLM program.
